Skills vs Knowledge in Business Education
Join our Centre for Business Innovations and Sustainable Solutions (CBISS) for a Research Forum: Skills vs Knowledge in Business Education
This event will explore the evolving balance between knowledge and skills within business and management degree programmes. In light of growing concerns from employers about graduate work readiness and the limited engagement with work-based learning, we aim to critically examine whether skills development should now take precedence over traditional knowledge input.
This hybrid event will also respond to employer feedback gathered from our prior CBISS Research forum and recent reports identifying a ‘Skills 2030’ agenda – with priority areas such as agility, systems thinking, and talent management.
Keynote speakers
- Ben Thornton, Partner at PWC
