Leadership Course for Women

This training will help participants to:

  • increase their confidence in leadership by enabling them to strategically analyse their role against the University vision
  • Support will be provided to develop, implement and evaluate strategies to achieve University goals using models and tools
  • We will also help participants to identify their own leadership style and develop the management skills to fully embed their learning in their role

Programme outline

  • Four workshops are scheduled to allow face-to-face training, facilitated group discussions and sharing of experiences.  
  • Wednesdays, 11am-1pm
  • 4 sessions: 22 May, 5 June and two further dates in Sept/Oct TBA
  • Deadline to register: 6 May 2024

Topics include strategic business assessment and managing change. Participants will be part of a group of women all joining in the course with the aim of developing leadership skills.

 

This course for women is inclusive of Trans and Intersex women, as well as non-binary and gender diverse people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of women. Places are limited to ensure the cohort can make the most of the experience and attendance is required at all sessions. This course is open to all Edinburgh Napier University and Queen Margaret University staff and alumni.
