Empowering Pioneering Voices

On 16 October, from 5pm until 7pm, the ENU Business School will host ‘Empowering Pioneering Voices’ in honour of Black History Month.
The event will feature, as a keynote speaker, Geoff Palmer OBE, Professor Emeritus at Heriot-Watt University and renowned human rights activist.
Sir Geoff became Scotland’s first Black professor in 1989, and has been named as one of the ‘100 Great Black Britons’. His presentation, ‘From Slavery to Windrush’, will be followed by a panel discussion featuring further established and emerging pioneering voices:
- Irene Mosota, Diversity ,Equity and Inclusion Expert
- Courtney Stoddart, Poet and Performer
- Wessley Edmonds, Student and Film Journalist
The event will be hosted and moderated by Edinburgh Napier's Business School's Professor Max Chipulu, and will end with a reception.
