9th Electric Vehicle Conference
09 Oct 2024 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM Edinburgh Napier University, Craiglockhart Campus, 219 Colinton Rd, Edinburgh, EH14 1DJHosted by our Edinburgh Napier Transport Research Institute, join us for the 9th Electric Vehicle Conference at our Craiglockhart Campus on 9 October 2024.
Automobiles are a liberating technology for people around the world. Automobiles provide access to markets, jobs, educational institutions and places that offer pleasure and relaxation. However, the issue of tail-pipe emissions has come under sharp scrutiny due to their impact on local and global pollution.
Electric vehicles offer an elegant solution to the above-mentioned issues, however, if only the electricity required to recharge is obtained from sustainable sources. With the cost of wind and solar electricity dropping at an exponential rate, we are truly witnessing a revolution in plentiful and sustainable electric generation.
Currently, two candidates have emerged as potential replacement of fossil-fuelled vehicles – all electric and hydrogen powered cars.
As a leader in electric vehicle research, Edinburgh Napier University has organised international conferences on e-vehicles.
