About CEED
CeeD is a growing community of businesses and academics. Together, CeeD pools talents, expertise, experience and resource in the pursuit of operational excellence. As a community, what binds CeeD together is the common aspiration to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness and ultimately profit. They do this by pooling collective expertise, resources, knowledge and experience to solve specific operational challenges and improve general operational performance.
Women in Engineering Networking Event
CeeD's mission is to create a safe and supportive network to address the under-representation of women in the engineering industry. This event is open to everyone who wants to contribute to this important cause.
Kathleen Harkins, People Development Consultant and Coach, will facilitate our second workshop on Advocating for Yourself. Kathleen will guide us through topics such as assertiveness, handling difficult conversations (including pay rise discussions), and leveraging these skills to position yourself as a leader.
The event will conclude with a lunch and networking session, providing an opportunity for attendees to connect, share experiences, and build valuable professional relationships.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a transformative movement in engineering!
This network is open to anyone in the industry - you do not have to be female and you do not have to be an engineer. We encourage anyone who wishes to make the sector more gender balanced to come along.
Further details on speakers and agenda will be announced soon.
