Join us at Edinburgh Napier University for a public lecture by Liz Aston, Professor of Criminology at Edinburgh Napier University and Director of the Scottish Institute for Policing Research.

Come and hear Liz share key findings from research on local policing, including stop and search and public perspectives on the use of technology in policing. Liz will reflect on the role of police-academic partnerships and how research and knowledge exchange can shape improvements to policing.

Her professorial lecture will highlight the importance of engagement, harm reduction, and accountability to public confidence in policing.

The lecture will begin at 5.30pm at Craiglockhart Campus, hosted by the Dean of Applied Sciences at Edinburgh Napier University, Professor Gary Hutchison and followed by a drinks reception at 6.30pm.
