Edinburgh Napier University is holding its online annual update event on Tuesday 19 November at 4pm, led by Interim Chair of Court Rex Tomlinson and Principal and Vice Chancellor Professor Andrea Nolan.

Join Rex, Andrea, and staff and student guests to hear how Edinburgh Napier has been making a positive difference over the past year.

This event is open to everyone with an interest in our work and our community. Whether you’re a member of staff, a student, an alumnus, a donor, an employer, a business owner, or an elected representative, you are invited to hear about the impact of our teaching, research, and innovation and the progress we are making to deliver our strategy – Shaping our Future: Driving Distinctiveness.

You’ll hear some of the year’s highlights from students and staff, including how we are contributing to wellbeing and sustainable development (our academic pillars) through world-leading projects based here in Scotland.

This includes our continued excellence in cyber security and award-winning work to help the police manage drug overdoses. Internationally, we’re leading a high-profile initiative to improve HIV and AIDS care in Ghana, while also continuing to protect life-sustaining mangrove forests around the world. We’ve also seen further spin-out success and successfully launched our International College.

We are keen to hear from you, so please join us to share your thoughts and ask questions on the day. You can also submit a question in advance when registering.

We hope you can join us for an engaging, illuminating, and thought-provoking session.
